Digital Library
Digital Library is the main attraction to satisfy the thirst for knowledge of the
students. It provides Access of 210 E-Journals, Transactions and Conference proceedings.
Students can download their desired materials. The E-Journal Programme has been
launched under INDEST - A.I.C.T.E Consortium with approval of MHRD.
Book Bank
The prescribed textbooks and important reference books constitute the book bank.
The Book Bank scheme issues every student one book in each subject for extensive
use. Attempts are being made to further enrich the library through international
funding. The library is also equipped with a large number of CDROMS, which can be
borrowed by the faculty & students for effective usage.
Round the clock Internet
The computer labs are equipped with 270 state-of-the- art P-IV computers with the
latest software required for various applications. All computers are interconnected
on OFC line and, in turn get connected to the Internet. The institute has established
with a high speed on 2 mbps via OFC. Each student is provided with an independent
personal computer for his/her academic use. Internet facility is being updated with
high-speed service so that class notes and other academic inputs are available to
the students.
System Department

The department is responsible for development and implementation of computer supported
ON-LINE integrated System of total activities of the institute. System design caters
to the needs of all the stakeholders of management education and technical education
i.e. Student, Faculty and Staff, Administration, Management, Parents, University,
Alumni, Employers and Society as a whole. The system department consists of eight
professionals headed by an Engineering Graduate with management qualification and
a vast experience of many years in application of Information Technology in large
corporate houses.
While certain modules like student’s admission, fee collection, hostel management,
transport allocation, assets accounting, college library, employees’ attendance
system, employees’ payroll and faculty performance monitoring and follow up, have
already been implemented. Many others are in the queue, the most important being
student Academic Performance monitoring and follow up, students training and placement,
alumni and availability of students’ performance to parents on the web.
